- All you need is the parent’s phone number
- Whenever you mark a student e.g. as “Absent - unexcused” on the app, the parent will get a text message
- The text will come from a new phone number so it won’t use your phone’s data plan
- You can personalize the text message, e.g. to include a way to contact you back

- New optional attendance feature: check-out
- Check-in: record attendance at the start of the class
- Check-out: record attendance at the end of the class
- Handy to keep track which students have been picked up by a parent
- Bug fixes
Version 3.2
Version 3.1
March 24, 2017
- You can now add up to 26 custom behavior and grading items
- Previously the limit was 12
- The items can be different per class
- Allow use of different symbols for grading items and for overall grade
- E.g. allow A+, A and A- etc. when assigning daily individual grades
- But show just A, B, C, D, F when calculating per period overall grades
- A new switch in “Settings” to calculate overall grade in one of two ways
- An average of each grading item first calculated as a percentage
- A percentage calculated by first adding cumulative points / max points together
- Bug fixes
Version 3.0
February 24, 2017
- Set grading symbols per grading item, for example:
- A = 90 - 100.0%
- B = 80 - 89.9%
- C = 70 - 79.9%
- D = 60 - 69.9%
- F = 0 - 59.9%
- Set how much each grading item contributes toward the overall grade, for example:
- 15% = Daily homework
- 25% = Pop quiz
- 40% = Class exam
- 20% = Term project
- 0% = Standardized test
- With these two new grading options, and the use of “Periods”, you can assign grades for your students:
- Overall grade for the week
- Overall grade for the month
- Overall grade for the semester
- Overall grade for the school term
- Notes:
- The grading symbols can be any letter or number system, mapped to percentages per trading item
- You can have as many grading symbols as you wish (A+, A, A-, B+, B, B- etc.)
- The app will calculate the weighted % for each student and assign the grading symbol as the “Overall grade”
- As the periods can overlap, you can show the “Overall grade” for each period for each student
- Bug fixes
